My First Lent – Day 36 – Weary

Keeping it real here.

I’m tired. I’m stressed. I’ve had no time this week to concentrate on writing. I can hardly string a sentence together my mind is so overwhelmed.

I took on this discipline of writing daily for Lent. It shouldn’t be a burden, but at this moment it feels like one.

So, I’m going to just take a day’s break today.  I need to rest and think and contemplate what to say tomorrow.

God’s peace to you all!

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” (‭Matthew‬ ‭11‬:‭28-30‬ NIV)
